MISSION STATEMENT

Not only as a professional in the entertainment industry, but as someone who holds a deep and unwavering belief in fairness, freedom, and the promise of democracy in every area of all industry.

What drives me, more than ambition, more than success, is a fundamental sense of justice. I am deeply moved by the idea that every individual deserves a fair shot. That talent, dedication, and passion should be met with opportunity—not gatekeeping.

And yet, here in my own beloved country of Norway, we face a quiet but harmful injustice within our creative industries—particularly in the world of acting. There is an unspoken system, a pattern, where opportunity is reserved for a select few: those who graduate from a small number of state-funded schools. These actors, while certainly talented, are not the only ones with gifts worth recognizing. Yet time and time again, they are given the roles, the visibility, the status, and the careers—while others, equally gifted, equally hardworking, are left in the shadows. Forgotten. Overlooked. Silenced.

This is not freedom. This is not democracy. This is a quiet monopoly dressed as tradition.

True democracy means that every voice matters. That every person, regardless of background, education, or affiliation, has the right to be seen, heard, and considered. When we allow only a narrow gate for opportunity, we do not practice democracy—we practice exclusion. And exclusion breeds bitterness, stagnation, and the death of diversity in storytelling.

We must ask ourselves: do we value art that reflects the fullness of our society—or only a small, polished slice of it? Are we brave enough to admit that this system favors the familiar, the comfortable, the known? Or are we ready to challenge it, and open the door to those who have stood outside for far too long?

I have seen breathtaking talent in actors who were never granted the privilege of attending a state school. I have seen them pour their hearts into their craft—relentlessly, fearlessly, beautifully. They are not less than. They are not invisible. And they deserve the same chances.

I believe in the power of dreaming big. I have dared to walk the harder road, the road of staying true to myself, of imagining a world where more voices are heard—and some of my dreams have come true because of it. I believe in the power of manifesting change. And I will never give up on fighting for fairness.

If you are a filmmaker, a casting director, a producer—whether here in Norway or abroad—and you share this belief: that talent is not the property of an institution, but the birthright of the human spirit—then I invite you to speak with me. Let us work together to un-monopolize the industry. Let us democratize opportunity. Let us lift up the brilliant, unseen actors whose only mistake was not fitting the mold.

Because art—real art—is not born from privilege. It is born from truth, and struggle, and freedom.

Thank you.
